As I continue with scanner problems, here's another non-tickling piece that'll surely get...
Here's a shaded pencil drawing that was fairly recent...and I actually like how this one came out for once. I probably should've saved it for my 200k page view plateau over at deviantart, which I'm nearing but probably will never hit.
Anyway...
By now you know I just love the beautiful, blonde (and barefoot obviously) acrobat/gymnast fighter Jetta Maxx from Sega's classic (to me anyway) fighting series 'Eternal Champions'. This flexible and speedy ribbon-clad gal still is probably one of my favorite fighting game designs to this day, even though EC itself has a very mixed 'response' in terms of fanbase.
Felt like doing yet another nice high energy pic with Jetta in one of her fighting poses, in the midst of quite a high kick towards the viewer. Going by information on her fighting styles, she's actually meant to be very kick oriented actually. One of her styles, Savate, literally is known as 'French foot fighting' in one meaning (albeit, usually with shoes, but I guess Jetta's design overwrites that 😉 ). So, what better way for her to show off her talents than a rising kick from her powerful/dangerous bare foot? Hate to be on the receiving end of that sole, no matter how happy/cute Jetta looks as she 'practices' (or performs) for us.
The background that I drew in is more or less based on her EC1 original background, where she was fought in front of what apparently is a torii (?) on a cliff-side in front of a cloudy sky. I kinda liked this concept actually for Jetta, seemed like she was a character that was slightly spiritual, learning a variety of cultures (and fighting styles) as she traveled with her circus.
Anyway, again, high energy kicking action from the lithe Jetta Maxx. Enjoy. Including the linear for the hell of it.
