TTD if she's in Bogota, can she stop by and say hi to my friends in Demarest, Paramus, and Totawa? lol Lord, how I miss the sweet names of NJ towns. Then there's East Rutherford,where I grew up; that DOES make sense cause it's "east " of the town of Rutherford, but my other NJ town of residence, North Bergen is NOT north of Bergen county!

Feeling a lil homesick for NJ today and jsut in a weird mood!

Seriously tho, good for Judy, I think she has a lot of love to give and will be an excellent mom to the little one! 🙂

Can't forget Weehawken( or as we used to say growing up.. "we hawkin' what" lol) Newark( or No Work as we used to call it when summer was high and the bums out in full bloom! 😀 ) Linden and Elizabeth( Paraphrasing Apolcolypse now : I just LOVE the smell of Oil and Petrolium refineries in the morning!)and the shrine of Sayerville, home of the has been Jon Bon Jovi( made the pilgramige to there back in the day! lol!

I'll be visiting the dear old Garden State definately in middle Aug.. going to PA for a Medieval Renfaire (Pensic for any SCA Members among us) and spending at least 2 weeks in "Joisey". I'll have the exact dates this week( well prolly tomorrow, since we get the info toniht @ our SCA meeting). And I look foreward to meeting and maybe tickling a very foot ticklish Jersy guy!

I used to live in North Jersey as did CelticRose too for that matter. In Fact, were once lived in the same town! Never knew of each other or met each other(that we can remember)although we were close enough at times that we probably did pass each other countless times and never knew a damn thing.

Even when I LIVED in North Jersey, I always called it BO ga ta, as is pronounced pertaing to the one in Columbia! 😉 😛

hello forum world, finally had a chance to get on and say hello myself from BOGOTA, COLOMBIA, you know South America, not NJ....gee you Jersey people...funny I married one! Anyway, I am doing fine but longing for my own home, its just a long process down here. Gee does anyone know any ticklers down in Colombia?? Would be good to pass the time! Today was a good day, went to a local market where there was some nice local shopping, yummy empanadas and some wonderful local Colombian music. Picked up beautiful handmade sweaters for my kids, the kind of rare quality knit you can't find to often in the US anymore. I am also going gaga buying leather stuff here, great quality even better prices. Might even try to sneak in some cuban cigars for hubby which I can snag for a good price here. When I arrived home in the US baby in hand last time they never even checked my bags...
