Just A Crazy Idea I Had One Day!

So I am a part of the Student Government at my community college, and I am also Chair of our community service panel. I was sitting in the office one day, and this crazy idea hit me. Since our mascot is a bear, and I love teddy bears, why not combine the two into some sort of community service event? So I came up with the Bear Drive, an event in which local people can donate a new teddy bear. All the donated bears would then go to a local children's hospital for the kids that are there. I was told to put something up to maybe encourage others to consider doing something like this for their community. Let me know what you think of this idea!

That's fantastic, Jewels! :happy: I'm sure there are lots of people around with spare toys or teddies or even books and clothing that could be donated to those who'd really benefit from them, and it's nice to know that there are some in our community who are active in organizing events like this.
