I'm in the process of putting together collections (on CD) of pictures/graphics on a variety of topics. These will be offered for sale on a web site I'm putting together. I've got some discs done and others in the works.

I have two questions to which SERIOUS responses are welcome.

I know that there would be plenty of people here interested in a CD full of thousands of tickling pics. But, how much would you pay for one? I'm trying to come up with a fair price that doesn't keep anyone from being able to get it if they really want it. (I was thinking something like $20.)

Also, are there topics that others would like to see collections for? Though I don't promise to do a disc for every response I get, if there's enough interest, I'll look at doing it. I'm already considering a foot disc, since there are somany here with that particular interest. (Please keep in mind, however, that I will not do any kind of hardcore material.)

***For those who may be curious: These collections will come from my own privately taken pictures and from web sites all over the internet. However, pay site material IS being respected and not used on these CDs. Purchase of the CDs will be paying for my own time and effort in putting them together and NO copyright infringement is intended.

This idea sounds great, Ann. Would $20 be a fair price? Let's do the math: $20/1,000 pics = $0.02/pic. So each pic is 2 cents, and you can view it whenever you want. Sounds fair to me! 😀

Topics I'm interested in: tickling, (female) feet, cars, (beautiful) women, sports, etc. Typical male stuff 😛

Actually, I think I have about 7,000 pics in the tickling collection.

Yeah. I thought it was pretty reasonable...especially considering that each disc takes an average of 2 months to compile. The sizes of the various collections will depend on what's out there. But, so far, I'm finding enough to fill AT LEAST a full disc. (The lighthouse collection fills nearly two full discs...well over a gig.) Where there's enough to warrant a second disc, I'll do so and add $5 to the cost. Where there is just a little overflow, I'll eliminate a few.

This whole thing started with my trying to figure out an alternate source of income, since my health keeps me from working a regular job on a steady basis. With the site I'm putting together and ads to be place on e-bay, it should bring in enough to get by on.

Also, I have a few discs full of clips. Most are from free sites. So, they'd likely fill about 3 discs once I weed out the ones from pay sites. Would anyone be interested in that? Or should I not bother?

I have 7 full discs right now. But, I need to weed out the ones from ET, since I'm not including any from pay sites. It should still fill at least 2 and possibly 3 discs, though...somewhere in the neighborhood of 800 clips, I think. I'll post a notice when I'm ready. But, it's likely to be around the holidays, since I have several other things in the works as well.

I would say 20$ would be a reasonable price per cd. Just my two cents.
