I've swerved work today, very naughty, but I've not had a day off sick this year.

I was in London Sunday and Monday, it was really warm yesterday, so I've got a sunburnt bonce lol

Sure enough (meant to be back to work) today, and it cold wet & horrible!

I do love how we Brits use the weather as a 'go to' choice for conversations. We're so amazingly predictable. One day we're going to have a volcanic eruption, probably in Surrey, and it will give the entire country something to talk about for a century.

Fair enough. As a newly decreed weather deity, you have the right to claim sacrifices of your choice, as well as a small army of druids in fancy robes. Also, 20 days paid holiday, during which time it will probably snow or something. Congratulations!

I've never been to Alton Towers yet so cant rate. But so far Thorpe Park really does it for me. I didn't enjoy Chessington at all.

Yeah, if you're in London like us, Alton Towers is annoying to get to. Chessington used to be good, but has gone downhill. Thorpe Park is brilliant though!
