Just curious if this kind of thing is becoming the norm...

Hi all.....here in Ontario , Canada we've had an outbreak of nastiness over the last couple of months involving the following;

Razorblades embedded in wooden blocks and buried just under the sand at the beach,
Broken glass shards stuck to the tops of monkey bars with silicone,
Nails hammered through park benches from the bottom,
Box cutting blades in children's sand boxes in parks.

I'm just wondering if this is happening anywhere else?

The same crazy things occur in my country. A few examples:

Hang a heavy load from a viaduct above the railway, so that the driver is almost killed on impact.
Hang a metal wire over the electric overhead line of the raylway, so that, when it makes contact with the train it explodes in a hugh fireball bu short circuit.
Throw pieces of concrete from a viaduct over the highway.
Throw a tramp in the water and walk away (too bad he can't swim).
Hang in the dark a metal wire over the road, about five feet high. The first motorcyclist that comes along will be capitated.

The worst thing is that other lunatics find it very "funny" and will copy that behaviour. My suggestion is: don't mention it in the news media, to prevent copycats.

yah....they usualy do it just to see it on the news red butler....but the big difference here is these are attacks on children. It makes me sick, and I'd love to get my hands on just one of these guys. So forgive me evil worshipers if I'm not a fan of your point of view.
I have a 13 year old son, I'll be damned if I let him get hurt.
11 years ago, my other son was murdered. Crimes against children are on the rise here for whatever reason. I just want to hear if it's similar anywhere else. Thanks for the replies so far.

I agree. Did they catch the scum who murdered your child? Nothing would please me more than to get my hands on the one who did this. I know there's been a lot of tuff talk around here lately but, by the time I was finished with that child-killing scum, he/she would be begging for the deathblow! I hope that person who's doing these things comes to Winston-Salem, NC. I'll be more than happy to to turn him into a living pretzel! >:>

Hi Ticklekiller, the guy got off scott free. not enough evidence, and I'd imagine since he was old enough to die on his own...they didn't persue it as hard as they should have.
That being said....and with all that's going on here, I feel the urge to become the real Punisher if you catch my drift.
I used to walk a lot with my buddies in the wee hours...maybe we'll start again.
My son's name was Jacob, and I still miss him.
God help those who hurt children and are found by me. Because without his help, they'll never reach the courts , they'll be sent to judgement.
A few members here at this forum openly worship the devil, and my question to them is....how far will they go to do evil? Can they be proud of that?
Crap...I've been shot, stabbed, slashed, beaten within an inch of my life, and do you see me making a scene if I don't agree with sombody? Or if I'm in a bad mood?
Grow up...life's too short ya know? Be glad you're alive, and be prepared for the next trial.

I like your style and would like to join your cause. It's time to clean up the scum on our streets. I too have often thought of becoming a Punisher-like vigilante. I know a lot of hyps around here are going to throw that up to me about how it isn't a christian thing to do etc., etc. but, I'm NOT a meek man. I know I SHOULD be but, I'm not and I doubt I ever will be. I'm not exactly sure what my reasons are for being on this planet but, I've always felt that my primary mission was to fight off the evil in this world. I wish I'd been physicaly injured by ruffians and thugs the way you have as it would make me a more experienced battler. We should start an organization in every country to take our streets back from hoodlums, thugs and dealers! That type of bullying is borderline terrorism and I wont have it anymore. I'm going to start training again. You've inspired me to fight for my home and neighbors. Thank you!

Good Sir Knight...I will say a prayer for Jacob before bed this evening...and for you, that whoever you pray to will assist you on your quest to find the cowardly, inhuman bastard who took your son from you...and to find the folks of the same cloth who are starting attacks on children in Canada...I plan on moving to Canada someday in the not too distant future, as I see your country as the TRUE land of the free...I can get married in your country, and can't in my own due to the lovely biggots running it...I guess I always had the naive notion that those friends beyond the northern border of my country were all kind, compassionate people...

I'm so sorry for your loss...and when I get to Canada, someday, I will help you on your quest...

Many Americans are moving north of the border, and I welcome you all. Our immigration lawyers get thousands of calls every day from there.
As for my quest , I will always do my best to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Though I know the problems will not end in my lifetime , I find great comfort in knowing there are others out there who feel as strongly as I do about this.
My wife constantly reminds me of how safe she knows she is around me , and all of my close friends call me when trouble rears its ugly head...I am proud to help.
