I went out in the pool on the 4th, and I have developed a nice little sunburn complete with blisters. I have aloe vera and solarcaine; which both work really well. It hurts to move, but so far typing and playing video games are OK, anyone know how long it takes for a burn to turn into a tan?

Sorry, L.O., but in my experience a burn doesn't turn into a tan. The burned skin stops hurting, and peels off, exposing a healthy but untanned new layer of skin. This should happen in a week.

heh, as some of you know, a while back I got my first burn, which turned out to be a fairly major one. Lime, it took mine 3 days to blister, the next day it peeled. I am still peeling, but my skin has just turned to dark tan. This was exactly 2 weeks ago yesterday. So plan on it taking over a week. Keep the vitamin E and aloe on it for now. If it is blistering, do NOT use Solarcaine on it. Just allow it to come down naturally.

Good luck, and I hope your pain goes away soon.
