In her search for Samanosuke, Kaede encounters the tentacle limbed Reynaldo monster. She disposes of the demon easily; unknown to her though, is the fiend's replication ability upon being killed. Facing two now, she moves quickly to dispatch them, but fails to see the third Reynaldo creeping up behind for a sneak attack.
Though they have a reputation as a relentless fighter, Reynaldo's also have a more "gentle" side, although as Kaede will find out on the receiving end of that gentleness, a demon's soft touch is often issued as a means of sadistic torment.
