Here's a thing: Continuity. As long as you're not a writer for The Simpsons you should have a pretty good idea of what it is. Carrying on the same basic facts and details throughout a story, or series of stories. When it comes to writing erotic tickling stories I wonder, how important is continuity?
Obviously when you're writing a singular story it's fairly easy to keep things in check, but what about you fine folks who write ongoing fiction? Multiple chapters, different adventures for the same character or characters? If you do bother with it, how important is it? Do you just refer back to old stories, or do you keep notes of the important stuff?
Also, does your audience care? If a character's hair colour changes midway through a chapter surely someone's going to get confused, but what if your lead's most ticklish spot changes in the sequel? What if they were 6ft tall and now they're 5'8ft?
I'm curious how others handle the...let's call it "optional burden" of continuity. Thoughts? 🙂
