Kelli at the Beach (poser - non-tickling images x8)

Since no one threw anything at me over my last render posting, I thought I'd share the other renders I did with the Kelli character to come up with the postcard image (render #8 won). Hope you enjoy.

I wouldn't say nobody, but it didn't get the attention it deserved. These are really great poses. I like the way she realistically blends in with her environment. Sometimes people have a hard time doing that with poser work.

A pleasing variety! Kelli's a sly minx, and well worked into the beach setting, as Vlad says. I think my vote would have gone for her first pose. I find the coy look particularly enticing!

I like #5 the best. With her back turned to us theres more wonder to it, as is she's daydreaming or looking out into the sea for something thats not there. That, and I think its the most sensual picture. 🙂

Thank you both for the comments... they are most appreciated. When I said "no one threw anything," I was just glad I didn't receive any negative comments, so that got me to post these. I did appreciate both of you posting the kind words that you did.

I chose #8 because it looked most like the tradition "babe on the beach" postcard image to me, so that's why I went with it. My own personal favorite was #7, because Kelli is close to being in "the pose" and by her expression, she's thinking of something fun.

"Coy" is hitting the nail on the head in #1, LBH. I can almost hear her saying, "You want to play with me? Gee... I don't know," as I look at it. Render #5 is a favorite because, as you said Vlad, it leaves much to the imagination of the viewer. When I look at it, I think she's either waiting for someone (perhaps a boyfriend) to return, or is taking in the those last days of Summer vacation before she has to return to school.

very good work. I usually dont comment on poser work, but these are some of the best I have seen. I just loved the style in the angel series, btw. For me personally, poser is best when people use it for slightly abstract/cartoonish characters ( like in the angel series ).

I also prefer using the more cartoony Poser models over the more realistic, but it's purely a personal preference thing. In the hands of a person with the artistic ability and talent, the ultra-realistic models (V3, M3, SP3, etc.) can produce some of the most amazing renders I've ever seen. But for me, my temperament is much more suited to the more cartoony figures - Koshini (the model I used in Laughing Angels), the Girl, the Maya Anime Doll, and Aiko 3 (the model I used for the Kelli renders). Maybe it's because I always wanted to be a comic book/anime/manga artist as a kid and lacked any actual artistic ability to do it.

Thank you for the kind words. I'm starting to feel the muse again, so I hope to be able to bring out some more piece, maybe even bringing back the Laughing Angels series. I'd really like to see what else is in store for them!
