I am aware that in terms of box office success that Jersey Girl was a bomb.

Is the movie really as bad as everyone makes it out to be or did people automatically dismiss it because it is not a "Jay and Silent Bob" or "dick and fart joke" movie?

If you saw Jersey Girl what did you think of it?
 
I thought it was great. George Carlin did a great job as the loving grandfather/tough-love dad.
Ben Affleck & Liv Tyler were great together.
Touching storyline.
