No, it could also mean (depending on your age) that you suffer from ED (erectile dysfunction).

Too much stress, caffeine, alcohol, etc. can stop it. Also, many prescription and OTC drugs can affect libido and sexual function

I would look at stress as the issue. That really is the killer. Don't put yourself in the situation where you see lovemaking as a crisis situation. Just calm down and relax, remember when these times were important and got the juices flowing.

Also I would curtail erotic imagery if it is interfering with your ability to see your girlfriend as erotic. When you start seeking more and more novelty you'll find yourself in a trap.

Now I read this quickly at first and the first thing I thought of was Erectile Dysfunction (As Ky said). Then I read it a second time and i'm starting to get a little confused about what you're asking.

For the record, I don't get hard EVERYTIME i'm with my girlfriend. If we're just hanging out, watching a movie, eating dinner together or whatever, i'm not going to get turned on by that. I do get hard when the activities I do with her are more...intimate/sexual. Such as foreplay. Sex. Tickling (Or any other fetish that you may both indulge in). Even something like going to the beach with her will get me turned on. But I don't do sexual things everytime i'm with her. I'm perfectly content just hanging out sometimes. So for the record, if you don't get a hard everytime you're with your girlfriend, it doesn't mean you're not turned on by her. HOWEVER. If you simply CANNOT get hard, no matter what you're doing with your girlfriend...then that would lean closer to Erectile Dysfunction.

I would say that I do for the most part. Of course, after the soldier fires the gun he goes back to the barracks. Sometimes if I'm feeling some pressure from work or I'm just not feeling it, it just doesn't work out. That is a rare occurrence for me. Are you having trouble reaching the goal line on a regular basis? If so, it could be medical. I would talk to a doctor who specializes in that. I do have a question, do you find your girlfriend attractive? It's an honest consideration that you need to ask yourself. If that is yes, then I would be more inclined to say it's medical or stress.

In this case, no not really. If it's just romantic 'together time' then no. After time, the initial charge that you felt just felt being with her dies down a bit. That's natural. It's a sign of a maturing relationship. I would only be concerned if you want to have sex and your foreplay isn't working.
