With the execution of the pond scum Joesph Franklin this morning... it brings to mind a fascinating topic..

People have probably heard of the customary tradition of "Last Meals" for people awaiting execution. There are several articles I found on this subject.

The link should be..

en.wikipedia.org_/wiki/last_ meal ...t have a last meal before being put to death.

This also brings to mind.. a question..

If forum members were to have a "Last meal", what would yours be?

Mine.. if they could.

Wonton soup, an egg roll, and chicken and broccoli with brown rice.

My Chinese food favorite lol. Why not go out of this world in style.

Btw, after people read some of the meals listed in that article.. my meal seems .. tame by comparison.

This brings to mind yet another question :

What would you be in prison for , Mitchell? What did you do? :evileye:

Nothing, lol.

I'm guilty of.. being addicted to an out of town newscaster in a place I don't even live anymore.. thanks to Jeff finding me his link.

Other than that,.. I've done nothing. I don't go anywhere to do anything. All I do is sit home and work lol.

Uh-huh. Well , so long as all this 'work from home' stuff isn't taking place in some remote bunker somewhere , I feel a bit safer now. Thanks , Mitch!

Just adding context...

ty for the link to the full article, Wildtime.

My last meal would be:
Two dozen oysters on the half shell.
French onion soup.
Linguine with white clam sauce.
Rack of lamb wth mushroom sauce.
Chocolate mousse pie.
Seltzer and Lagavulin (a single malt whisky from Scotland) for beverages.

I'd ask for my executioner's baked testicles.:yayzorz:

What?

Just me?

I guess I would also ask if I could get a couple marijuana joints before.

Eating people's balls might be gross.

I've actually eaten balls. Bulls balls, that is, in Oklahoma City when I was 16. They tasted like chicken.

In my opinion, if you've committed such a horrible crime that you've been given the death penalty, you deserve no last meal.
