I wonder if Laughing gas would also fall under the Mainstream bracket of TK. I could remember a few Incidents where laughing gas was used on an attractive woman. I myself imagine that while she's laughing Invisible hands were tickling her all over. Anyways, here's a few Laughing Gas Incidents.

Batman the Animated Series- "Harley and Ivy", at one point the Joker and his gang breaks into Poison Ivy's house and the Joker makes her inhale Joker venom, and she breaks out laughing. But she was really faking it and tell them she's immune to most toxins, but she's got a great laugh though (I want a sound file of this)

She-Ra- In an episode her sword gets broken and she has to pass various tests to restore the sword, But before that one of the comic releif characters let loose pollen from a Giggle Berry Bush which makes her (As Adora though, too bad not as She Ra) Bow and Glimmer Laugh uncontrollably

Cannon Ball run- The Main character get's stopped, and when a cop questions him of a woman in the van (As far as I could remember) we hear her laugh, he explains to the cops she's delerious, and she later explains that the ugly doctor pumped her full of laughing gas.

Night of the Comet- This is the most direct connection between tickling and laughing gas. Some scientists give the kids masks and tells them "It will tickle for a while, then you'll join Santa in the North Pole", then one of the Heroines catches them, and tone of the kids tell her what the nurse just said, and she tells them that they're sick. Too bad she doesn't get overwhelmed and bound to see if the gas will tickle her and send her to the north pole.

Can't say I ever really understood the appeal of laughing gas (the fictional version, of course -- as has been discussed elsewhere, real laughing gas doesn't actually make people laugh, and is nothing to fool around with). I can see where someone might be attracted to the idea of a victim being forced to laugh, but the lack of physical or mental interaction kills it for me.

Hi FetishShaman

Just to say I certainly remember 'Night of the Comet'. How it actually ended (find it on video to check this), was the kid's were rescued by the Heroines, who then tied up BOTH nurses, strapped the Laughing Gas masks to their faces, with a placard saying 'gone to see Santa'

Back in those long lost days, when I saw this film, when I actually believed I was the only person in the world into Tickling, that ten second snatch, of both tied up Nurses giggling wildly, was one of the most erotic things I had ever seen.

Back to the main point about Laughing Gas though. I too have pondered this subject. For me Tickling is as much about seeing and hearing a lady having uncontrollable high pitched hysterics, as it is about the physical touching. If Laughing Gas can bring that on, then it should be available at your local supermarket.

However the searches I have done on the web re: this very subject suggests:
1) It is impossible to get hold of, unless you are a medical practioner such as a dentist.
2) Uncontrolled use can actually be fatal.

As a fantasy though, it rocks.

Laughing gas

As discussed in a previous thread, I must state this again for our members' safety:

1) Nitroxide (laughing gas) was used to reduce sensitivity to pain by dentists during long-ago decades. It also reduces ticklishness a lot!

2) Nitroxide has been abolished for medical use as it causes severe side-effects (even at minimal doses) very frequently. This goes as far as causing permanent brain damage AND DEATH!!!

3) Nitroxide is only used for technical purposes (chemical or metallurgy industry). Should you get hold of it by chance, DO NOT USE IT!

I'm sorry to shatter a rather popular tickle fiction theme, but this is really important for your own safety. Thanks for bringing up this topic again, Fetishaman!

I guess the Fictional Laughing Gas should be called 'Tickle Venom' or 'Tickle Gas' so that it not be confused with it's real life and Potentialy Dangerous counterpart the Real Laughing Gas.

To me the lack of tactile contact of Laughing gas is a small trade-off. It's all about the sound. I want to see a clip of that last 'Night of the Comet' scene.

I've always imagine tanks of "Tickle Gas" That tickles upon skin contact and the tanks are attratched to a tube that attatches to the navel.

The best Laughing Gas scene would have to be the Joker Venom the Joker gave Poison Ivy. though she was faking it, it was a good laugh.

Laughing Gas II

It's still used by dentists here in the USA - had some myself while undergoing dental surgery. Feels kinda like being very stoned, but the effect goes away completely within a few minutes. It's ideal in that respect - I was able to safely drive home afterward.

Laughing gas parties were briefly popular in the 1840's, and I've heard that it's come back as a form of (theoretically) low-impact drug abuse. Hal's right, though. It's best left to knowledgeable medical practitioners who are equipped to recognize and deal with side effects.

Gosh darn it, Hal, Strel!
Here I've gone and purchased a four-foot high tank of the stuff from
e-Bay and you've gone all sober and responsible on me!
Oh, well, maybe I can apply some of those lessons I got long ago from
that Learn-Dentistry-By-Mail Correspondence Course...
Now, where are those pliers?

Whenever I think of Laughing Gas, the movie Lethal Weapon 4 always comes to mind. You know, that scene where Riggs (Mel Gibson), Murtuagh (Danny Glover), Butters (Chris Rock), and that Chinese mob guy are all in the dentist's office .. and they're all passing the mask to each other.

I know this has nothing to do with tickling, but still, that scene was hilarious. 😀

Ok, the Giggle Berry Bush in She-Ra isn't laughing gas. It did however make her (Normal form) as Adora laugh, no indication that it tickled until she unleashed some on Hordak and he was tickled by it. Too Bad she didn't get the pollen in her She Ra form.
