How many here watch Law And Order? If so which version is your favorite?

I like the original but prefer SVU.

I can't stand the new one.

I love the original. Back when it was Michael Moriarty and Chris Noth and company. Each replacement takes a little getting used to. But with all the revolving doors, it's still the most compelling drama on. Even the re-runs don't get stale.

SVU is growing on me, but I don't think I'll ever remember it now that it's on Tuesday nights - let alone be home in time to catch it. Maybe I'll catch the repeat on USA.

And I agree with you about CI - it gets so melodramatic and is wrapped around the psycho babble D'Onofrio that I get lose interest half way through.

Tonights L and O

Was pretty damn good. I like it that sometimes the guilty get away.

I thought SVU was still on FRiday nights? I'm hoping not on Tuesday because when The Shield comes on I'll have to miss SVU.

Tron

Nope, SVU was moved to Tuesday nights opposite NYPD Blue and Judging Amy. Brilliant, huh? Three "cop" shows - albeit all from a different angle - on at the same time. Check the program listings because USA does reruns from the previous week on Sunday nights I think...probably opposite CI 😛

Hey des...

You're an Ohioan?????

You had some interesting replies in the Biography and Questions about tickling threads.

I just took up watching Law and Order last year. I've been watching them in re-runs.

IMO the original was best, and SVU was pretty good too. I have been watching CI and personally I don't think it's too bad.

Sole...you have stumbled across a great series. While I can't get into CI because of Vincent D'Onofrio's in-your-face approach, it's still better than most of the junk they have on the networks.

Tron...yep, I'm an Ohioan. Southwest corner to be exact. And I hope interesting responses isn't a bad thing... 🙂

I too watch the reruns, they run two episodes around here Mon.-Thurs.I watch them all,but my favorites are the ones with Angie Harmon😉 😉 .She looks pretty good in a dress and a pair of pumps.:couch: :couch: :couch:

:atom: But,Jill Hennesy isn't that bad either:atom:

Nope desdemona...

It's addicting...

Angie Harmon isn't my fave for ADA. I prefer Jill Hennessey. But Jack McCoy beats Ben Stone hands down.

What I actually find amazing is that with all the talented regular cast, they manage to find great guest stars - and reuse them! In one episode, an actor can be the accused. In the next, he's the attorney defending the bad guy! It's also nice to see that most of the actors have gone to other successes in showbiz. I'm glad they got to use Capt. Cragen on SVU after he was replaced by Lt. Van Buren. And hiring Richard Belcher from Homicide was a great move, too. All of the series manage to have above average writing with people who can act - not bad in today's world of hum drum dramas and reality tv shows.
