Learning to speak Russian

anybody here native to the russian language and willing to give me some help would be greatly appreciated. iv recently become obsessed with learning to speak russian....too many video games and movies with russians in them, and i can do a russian accent absolutely flawlessly, when i talk in a russian accent i sound like a native born russian, yet when i try to say a few minor russian words i get so tongue twisted i cant even talk. anybody got any tips?

Its been 3 years but im gonna say it anyway... don't do "the russian accent", the one you hear in movies and tv shows I mean. Noone really talks like that. Noone ever talked like that actually. No idea where it even came from but that's not russian accent... DO u undRRstand mee U sillee ameriKan?
