I wanted to respond to punishment earlier, but I was so busy I simply did not have the time. Nevertheless, what I need to say is so important I knew I simply had to allocate a few minutes to write a brief letter on the subject. Perhaps before going on, I should describe punishment to you. Punishment is blinkered, inconsiderate, and virulent. Furthermore, it yearns to muzzle its corrivals. Lastly, let me remark that it is imperative that we keep our courage up. Timidity here will bespeak canker and atrophy of the soul.
