Awwww, rest in peace, sweet man. I met him once, briefly. Firm handshake, cool dude.
Man, Bugman, he looks the same in that 2009 clip! But he always was an "old soul", right? Even in the 70s. For someone whose act was "retro", he was so authentic. I remember being a kid, staying up late and catching him on SNL (the first cast). Loving that clip of "Shine On Harvest Moon" you posted, never saw that one before.
I always laugh at this one.....and marvel at his impeccable guitar playing at the same time! How he arrived at this arrangement of "Sheik Of Araby" I'll never know. "What!' lol. Me and my old band were doing that for years as an in-joke. "What!"
