THE HISTORY OF LEXI
The adorable “LEXI” first made her debut in May of 2007, a creation of veteran MTJ author Colin. The art for her first ticklish adventure entitled Lexi #1: The Goddess of Laughter” was illustrated, inked, colored and letter by artist extraordinaire Tomato Dragon.
After the success of Lexi #1 Colin and Tomato Dragon teamed up again for a second adventure entitled Lexi #2: Prehysterical Peril was released in December of 2007.
After Tomato Dragon launched Paw Feather Publishing and with his desire to continue supporting his “TATS” McCree comic series at MTJ Publishing it became necessary to temporary shelve Lexi until we could find a new artist for the series and that artist would certainly have some large shoes to fill.
Late in 2008 Tomato Dragon put MTJ Publishing in contact with a new artist. This talented artist’s name is DarkJak and after one look at her Deviant Art page Colin pointed out that she would be perfect for Lexi and I could not agree more.
MEET LEXI
She’s a brilliant, extremely cute college student. Lexi could be a great scientist if she concentrated on her work a little more. Unfortunately, all she thinks about is capturing people who have caught her fancy and tickle-torturing them until they lose their minds.
Which would be fine, if she weren’t so accident-prone, and so ticklish herself.
Lydia is Lexi’s best friend and sidekick.
Below are two Lexi Promo's.The first promo is brand new and the second appeared in TFTA #30 as a teaser. The third image is a previously released illustration I had DarkJax create for Coli. I am inluding it here for those of you that have may have missed it.
On Tuesday 9/29/09 I will add a third promo to this thread and on Wednesday I will post a preview of the cover for Lexi #3 to this thread as well. (Customers that have purchased Bounce Chix Origins II have already had a sneak peak at the cover) Finally on Thursday 10/01/09 Lexi #3 will be released.
