Life Goals! :D

Life Goals! A lot of people have some and I'm curious whether or not you lot had any!

I have a few!

1) Try/Eat one of every type of sausage on earth.

2) Get my name in the newspaper (preferably on page 17 and preferably for a good reason).

3) Get a high score on atleast one arcade game.

4) For one whole day say "Yes" to every (reasonable) question.

5) Prove a really smart person wrong. 😛

Sure there may be flaws in my goals but you all get what I mean! 😀

An old personal favourite of mine (told by Bill Bailey who is a British Comedian) which was "Lunge Wildly At The Pope".

I don't want to try it for understandable reasons but it is quite a funny thought! 😛

My life goals are rather more out of reach than yours, BuddyBob.

1) Be mega-rich (probably via a lottery win).
2) Set foot on another planet (I'm not cut out to be an astronaut).
3) Live forever (see the message just under my screenname - "Aiming for immortality" - I ain't kidding...)

And of these, my number one life goal is actually number 3 - to be immortal. You may snigger, but I believe it'll be possible within our lifetime (by downloading the brain into a computer). Well, I think it'd be kinda cool anyway...

i have a high score of 3rd place on Crisis Zone. it's just like The Time Crisis series, but you get a machine gun, and it's only 1 player. i love the game. and in this arcade, it's always packed with people always playing it, so 3rd place is alot.

I've played Crisis Zone down at my local multi-cinema. It's a brilliant game but I never made the scoreboard.

My best chance at doing that goal is by playing Time Crisis 1/2/3. Been playing those games for years. 😀

oh yes! i always get on the board with those games. i got mad skills. 😀

i'm known at the arcade as to be one of just a few guys who can make it through the first level of Time Crisis 3 without losing all 3 health. i love the choice of weapons, too. oh, and Wild Dog makes a great villian, don'tcha think?

State of Origin is a well known rugby league match in Australia in which two states (Queensland and New South Wales) play against each other with players representing the state they were born in. The best thing about it is that it's very tough, physically demanding and pits teammates against each other from their own club. It's very popular in Australia, and every rugby league fan craves for this time.

This is interstate football at its best, and is well known for many fights and all-in-brawls during the matches. It is a best of three matches, so whichever state wins two out of three, wins for that year. This year, New South Wales won 2-1 (bastards).

my local arcade has a "Lockdown" every Friday night where you pay $12, and from 8:00pm - Midnight there are free games and pizza and coke. i played Time Crisis 3 almost 20 times, Time Crisis 1 and 2.... countless. Crisis Zone i've played like 25 times or so.

Mad Dog is a pretty good villian, and even that guy with the sword and submachine gun in part 3, Giorgio Zott i think his name is. he's challenging.

My current life goal is saving enough cash for an XBOX 360, and other games i've been depriving myself of. that's all that comes to mind now.

I have the old Time Crisis on Playstation (played on PS2).

I love the solo gaming where you have to save that girl at the end. So sweet!

oh hell ya. i had Part 2 and 3 on PS2, always love saving the girl at the end. i remember the end to Time Crisis 2, where you gotta save her on that abandoned oil rigg that is really a launch platform for a hightech satellite, remember fighting that satellite while that old main boss has the girl hostage and he's shooting you. i remember popping the girl in the head a few times when i first played it, right between the eyes, lol.

another goal i'm considering is learning another language. i don't wanna learn spanish since EVERYONE seems to know it. i'm thinking of learning Russian, then if i want more, i'd learn German.

Lemme see...my life goals:

1) Write enough short stories to be made into a book and get it published.
2) Win at least one poker tournament.
3) Get myself into shape (other than round).
4) Find a nice woman to spend my life with.

Just once, before she dies, I would like to see Joan Collins show up as a guest on the View, look at the audiance and scream-"Wut up muthafuckas!!!"
