The new teacher in school decided to try something to help encourage participation from her students. She raised her hand and said "I am a dodgers fan. Is anyone else here a dodgers fan?"

Nearly every student raised their hand except for a little girl sitting in the front row.

The teacher asked the girl "Aren't you a dodgers fan?"

The little girl replied "No. I am a Giants fan. My mom and dad are Giants fans."

The teacher replied "That's not a very good reason. What if your mom and dad were morons. Would that make you a moron too?"

The little girl shrugged and answered, "No. That would make me a dodgers fan."
