Livewires is an amazing book series that Marvel released in 2005. In a field full of re-hashed, overused ideas, it was a breath of fresh air both artistically and in terms of the writing. It is hands down one of the best books Marvel has released in the last ten years.
Here, we have Stem Cell (the bookish redhead with the glasses, the team's tech expert), Social Butterfly (the freckled blonde, specializing in ah, 'human relations') and Gothic Lolita (the Japanese girl in the black baby doll lace and resident powerhouse) taking turns on the St. Andrew's Cross.
And seriously, PICK UP THIS BOOK!
