log in redirecting me to the front page whats up??

I tryed logging in
4 times but all it was doing was redirecting me to the front page i did not get the bad log in message
It works now but whats going on???

It sounds like you might have been mistyping your password. When that happens you get popped back the main page.

is it not set to tell you you only have so many more attempts before your blocked out for a set time?
If that is true than i did not get that screen!?
