If I could ask for some assistance from someone? I clicked a link from another forum to come to a thread here, but it said I didn't have access to that page and that 1. I might not have access to this page for it may be administrative things or editing someone's post and 2. My account might've been banned or not activated yet. I've activated my account multiple times because I needed to reset my password, and other threads seem to work for me.

Also, I try to log out, but when I do, it brings me to a page where it says "all cookies cleared" and provides two links to either the page I was just at or the Forum Index. When I click the Index, it still says I'm logged in. I don't understand why this is happening.

I occasionally get this too. Look in your address bar after you click the link. Does the link have a "www" in it? Like, say, http://www.ticklingforum.com/showthread.php?p=1167390? Or is it missing? The thing about being logged in with cookies is that they sometimes can be tied to that www. If you normally browse the TMF with the www present, your cookie is tied to http://www.ticklingforum.com and WILL NOT WORK if you follow a link going to http://ticklingforum.com (Notice the lack of www). This works in reverse: if you normally browse at http://ticklingforum.com, you will not be logged in at http://www.ticklingforum.com. If you see this, 'tis a simple fix. Either add the www. if it is missing, or take it away if it is there. That will fix it in all but a select few cases. This is one reason I dislike how www is sometimes omitted. You see, some websites require the www to be there to function (It depends on where the site root is located in some instances.), or they won't function if it is there (Many subdomains suffer from this).

Those select few cases have to do with moderators and deleted threads. On many forums, the TickleTheater being one I am familiar with, there is a special administrative forum where mods and admins are supposed to move threads that are "deleted." This helps if a mistake is made in removing those threads, since they can be restored, rather than if they were outright deleted. However, while these threads still exist, they are in a place where only moderators and administrators have access. If you follow a link to that thread given before it was deleted, you will come up with that "unable to access" message due to it being in a forum you can't access. This means that it was deleted, and you can't see it. End of story, eh?

Yes, end of story. Thanks, man. I appreciate it.
