Aww, YEAH! That was great, kopfhorer. Thanks for the link. I've been pretty much using it the background to my net-scavengings for the last half-hour. I still can't believe that he's really gone. Dammit.
Seems like February is a tough months for rockers. It was the 30th anniversary of the death of Sid Vicious and the 50th anniversary of the small plane crash that took Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper, and Ritchie Vallens in this dreadful month, also. And these are just those that I heard about on the radio and word-of-mouth. Anyway, long story short: Hell with February.
I love you guys. Nobody hardly ever mentions The Kinks these days. Same with The Who. I see people of all ages wearing retro rock tees, but it seems there's little love anymore for these (Brit)bands. Maybe it's just living down here in the South or something...

Anyway, I like to think that either Ray Davies OR Lux Interior would be proud at the resemblance. Different sounds and audiences notwithstanding...
I always liked The Who, but I am just not terribly familiar with them. They were the biggest band for a while then they fell off the face of the Earth.
