Looking for a Spy Interrogation Story from the Late 90s/Early 2000s

I'm assuming this is the right forum to post this too, if not, please feel free to remove it. I am just curious if anyone remembers a story from either the late 90s or early 200s, featuring a woman who is captured by a Chinese agent? The mother was a spy/special agent of some kind and the Chinese woman is tickling her 18 year old daughter, to get the mother to talk? If I remember correctly, at the end of the story, the mother and daughter are rescued and the Chinese woman is then left to be tickle tortured by her own device. I'm honestly not sure when this story was published, but I think it was either the late 90s, or early 2000s. Thanks for you help and have a great weekend!!
