Lordi from Finland won Eurovision 2006! 😀
I can't believe it... Finland hasn't one in 40 years I heard... Had my fingers crossed for Lordi, since it's closest to metal with its hard-rock...

Lordi burned the wings of those other hippie pop-musician contestants! 😀

Yeah they were great...glad they won they deserved to.

Hollywood Brother Eurovision Song contest occurs once a year where countries compete with a song to try and win the conest.Last night there were 24 countries competing.Once each country has performed there is ten minutes of voting time whereby countries vote for their fave song but cannot vote for their own country.then a spokesperson announces the votes and they choice which country gets 1-7 points and 8,10 and 12 points according the number of votes each country recieved.if that makes sense.And last night Finland got the most votes and won Eurovision which means Eurovision will be hosted in Finland next year.

Eurovision is concidered a joke in this country, but the continentals take it very seriously. In many cases because we have a concidrably more productive music market in this country, and we're able to feed off American influences so much easier than non-english speaking continental states.

Winning Eurovision however normally garentees unsigned bands a record deal of some sort.
