Lots of questions that I need answered.

I'm hoping that some of the video producers will see this and answer, but I'm thinking that members of the community could help as well. I'm again thinking about starting up a video company to feature ticking content and I need some help.

Questions:

1. Would making a video store featured on clips4sale require a business license, trademark, or copyright? I think I answered my question on the copyright thing because I noticed on wikipedia they said that the US has entered into this thing called the Berne Convention which basically states that once a piece of work has been made tangible it is copyrighted and no registration needs to be done.

2. Would it be illegal for me to make tickling content in the state of Minnesota, and if no one knows the answer to that particular question, would anyone know where I might find the lawyers who would?

3. This question is exclusively for the video producers. What is the best place to find models? I've got some answers before on this, but I'm wondering if it's changed.

4. Again to the video producers. Where do you shoot your videos? I bought a book once that was for making specifically pornography and the author said that in your own home is not such a good idea because then the model knows where you live (in case she's vindicative for some reason, or becomes a stalker or whatever other reasons make this a bad idea).

5. What do you pay your models, or to the community at large how much money would be enough to do a tickling shoot? I was thinking 200 and maybe to get to know each other a little bit before the shoot to dine out together on my expense of course. Maybe do the modeling interview as part of this getting to know each other part. I was also thinking that it would work out better for me if I were to find 2 models who would work together thus leaving me free to do the filming while they take turns.

6. And finally a question for everyone is there one particular book that details how to shoot videos? Specifically the lighting and all that? I'm asking the whole community in the hopes that someone here does shoot videos in general (weddings, etc.)

No license is necessary. I don't think a trademark is necessary.

It doesn't seem to be illegal to make pornography in Minnesota, unless it is Child Pornography. However, you mightnot see it as pornography, and besides, if you made it, then you got caught, you could just say you were recording it for memory. 😛

Modelling agencies are good for finding models. However, what you could do is meet people, expand your network of individuals that you yourself know, and then pick from that group, make a good impression on them, and then they in turn will make it known to other potential persons of interest.

Or you could pay street walkers. They'll be very willing. Especially poor ones.

A motel would be perfect, like a very low cost one. Econo lodge, Whatever. Also bring cleaning equipment in case that place is a buck nasty room. Preferably the room is near the back.

Well, that is a tricky question. Some people pay people so much money. You don't have to pay them at all. But fifty to one hundred would be fine for a regular person. Fifty for a street walker. Getting to know people is very good for building trust.

Dude, Journia bro, THAT WAS AWESOME, thank you for pointing me in the direction of that pdf file which was basically a savings of 30 bucks for me. It looks pretty comprehensive although I don't have the time to read it at the moment.

Also wanted to say that after reading the sticky that James Darke posted it appears it would have to be in the 150-200 range for the price of the model.

Damn going to college cost me a lot, and if I had just went accounting from the getgo I'd probably be debt free right now and able to pursue this 100%.

And yeah I don't know anyone could think that tickling porn would be illegal especially since as far as I'm concerned the model can keep her pants on. I would just be shooting UB and foot tickling material. Because as I've been seeing in a few places today if it isn't fun then don't do it, and for me it's all about the tickling, nothing more.
