yes, so many of the "old, classic" artists are getting to that age....still a shock to hear when one has passed. RIP, Lou

A true rock and roll legend. "Sunday Morning" and "Satellite of Love" are my favorites from him.

The news of this yesterday, hit me very hard, he was one of my heroes. I'm listening to Dirty Boulevard right now. RIP Lou, you will be missed.

Nothing like cranking up the ol' laptop one Sunday evening only to learn that no, it wasn't a hoax as some folks claimed, that Lou Reed was really dead...

As for Walk on the Wild Side, as great a song as it is, I hate it when radio networks reduce a man's musical career down to one or two tracks that just happened to hit the top-40.
