I've seen lots of times a scene from the film "Love At First Bite" posted in a file as mainstream tickling..but aside from that few second scene..does anyone know that the film had a great soundtrack LP and is funny as hell? LOL. I'm a DJ who spins classic underground disco music from the late 70s/early 80s and the theme song of that film is an underground classic. Also the soundtrack LP was on one of the top disco labels around in the 70's (Casablanca Records). Wondering if anyone else out here has intrest in disco music? I've posted before about deep disco before in the past and no one responded but theres new people around since so..I kinda give it another go..just wondering if im the only one in the tickling world that has intrest in this.

Early-to-Mid disco was way different from the stuff at the trailing end of its days. The early-to-mid stuff was romantic and exciting at the same time. The late days were just plain bad; shouldn't even be called "disco" in my opinion (which seldom counts for anything, but hey, it's the TMF).

The disco from 1977 - 1980 was great and many many different styles. There was the stuff that was ultra hardcore and could be played in todays clubs and kids would think it was new stuff, then there was still the romantic type as well. Im not talking of the diso that was on the radio, Im talkin the stuff played in clubs only. For the beautiful romantic type here are a some titles from late 70s:

You Must Be Love - Love And Kisses (aka Alec R Costandinos)
Tender Is The Night - THP Orchestra
Something New To Me - Miquel Brown
Love Has Come My Way - Tony Valor & Carol Williams
You Know How To Love Me - Phylis Hyman
Call Me Tonight - Cerrone
Love's In You, Love's In Me - Giorgio Moroder & Chris Bennet
Say The Word - Cher
Save Your Love For Me - Space

Thata some of the many that have either romantic lyrics, feel, music or all from the late era. The stuff that was on pop top 40 radio was pure garbage and why and how disco got it's bad name. What was true real disco was unknown to the mainstream and the more people that have heard it years after the fact (now days) love it and they are people that said "disco sucks" lol. If ya can and download mp3s, check some of those songs out I mentioned and you'll see what im talkin bout.

DJ Jimmy,

I considered myself a fair Disco Buff, I don't always remember the song title as those days are long ago but I bet if you played it for me I would certainly say I remember that song. I personally loved Disco, I loved to dance, hustle and all that. I grew up in NYC at the height of the Disco scene. I had quite a few of the old 12 inch Disco records (remember Have a Cigar track, or Money?). Love at 1st Bite was the name of the title track? I will have to see if I can find it and play it. I actually had my sweet 16 at a NYC Disco and my HS Prom was at the Copacabana NYC and through my HS I actually danced at a 12 hour Disco marathon. Gee thinking back then I had a blast going to the clubs at night dancing up a storm...I was definitely much thinner back then!!

The track was "Fly By Night" by Pat Hodges. There were 2 versions, the vocal one which was the 140 BPM fast one, then the 5am disco version as its been nicknamed thats a slower hustle type groove and is instrumental basicly. And yes, I have the "Have A Cigar" b/w "Money" 12" in my huge disco vault collection. The artist was Rosebud and it was on WB Records 1979.

too bad your not close to the East Coast I would love to listen to some of your vault music!! I don't even have a turntable anymore!! I bet I would have alot of fun and trips down memory lane! How'd you end up in Arizona, I don't exactly picture Disco listening in that area of the country!! LOL

PS the last time I did any noteable Hustling was at my Wedding complete in my long wedding gown!

Hello again, well im from the east coast originaly, from Philly. Been in Arizona roughly 2 1/2 years. Moved to Iowa when I had gotton married cause her family was from there..the marrage was a big mistake on my part, my family had relocated to Arizona begining with my sister who was in collage so I decided to move to Arizona as well and be near family. Im now divorced and happy without the evil witch LOL..I shoulda had a "Disco Divorce" (remember that one by Paul Jabara?). Anyhow, if you download mp3's and use the WINMX music/file sharing program you can hear my vault weekly as I just started doing a show called "Disco Extravaganza" which many disco lovers from all over come to download and hear the program! Like we have are tickling comunity there is a disco comunity as well in the good ol cyber world 🙂 (Thats actually the first discovery I found in the cyber world before I found there were others with my tickling fetish hehe). If you use WINMX or download mp3's let me know and i'll give you instructions on how to get to my meeting place in there to get the program and tons of other people sharing the great true disco music.

Not only do I LOVE the movie, but I'm a huge disco fan. In fact, there's a class around town that teaches the hustle and other disco dancing that I'm dying to join 🙂

Bella, proud '70's baby

just got back from a Sat night party and just because you brought me back to the good old days I turned on 103.5 NY's new WKTU dance party with DJ Jimmy J. Had some good tunes on tonight and I was dancing in my car, some Tramps came on (one of my favs!). Then they played a tune I haven't heard in ages...Where were you when the lights went out in NYC! I haven't downloaded MP3's in a while, turned off of kaaza cause of problems with virus sharing as well as file sharing! Gee we share tickling and a love for Disco!! nice combo...lol

And Bella I always knew I liked your style, I am a 70's lady too!

Ahhhh one of my east cost underground faves "The Lights Went Out In NYC"...damn great track. The 7 min 12" was the best version. I can say theres no fear for virus in my WINMX meeting place, as long as you were to download just from me or any of my people you'd be safe and this show is running great and tons apon tons of people from all over the world are taking it. If I had a way to do a streaming site and put it up as a stream file I wouldnt use WINMX to broadcast my show but its all I can do at the moment 🙁. Anyone intrested let me know and i'll instruct on how to get there 🙂. What are some of your fave disco tracks you can remember? I have tons apon tons LOL
