Love Hina (f/f)

It dawned on me recently that I've never seen a picture of Haruka from Love Hina getting it, so I tried it myself. Here we have a more-than slightly intoxicated Kitsune "persuading" Haruka to cancel the debt she built up through drinking.

I agree there, Sy. I rather like them as well. Mutsumi will always be my favorite though ^^ No tk pics of her exist that Ive seen though.

It's a nice picture. There are some proportion issues, but that will be corrected with time. Good job. I like these two together, and adding Tama is a cute touch. 🙂

I've got some old Love Hina artwork I haven't scanned yet, some I haven't finished, and alot I haven't drawn yet. Since the incomplete work cannot be drawn the way I used to draw, I'll probably just have to redraw it completely. ^^;

I draw it by hand first, and then I scan it, outline it and colour it in photoshop. I have done a couple of mouse drawings in the past, but a) I find them a lot more difficult, and b) they're a lot more time-consuming.

At the moment, no. It's sort of a spur-of-the-moment thing. I did this a couple of nights ago at about 1:30am, just on a whim, as is the case with most things I draw.

I'm always on the lookout for inspiration, though; and one day I wouldn't mind trying my hand at a few requests, to get me into the habit of drawing new characters.

Yeah, the last thing I want is to run out of ideas. And it's not the sort of thing you can force yourself to do, either. Despite that, I will try and draw at least one picture a week, to keep myself going.

Thats a good regiment. It won't always be practical though. I tried to live up to the "at least 1 picture a week" idea, but it won't always, can't always, work that way.

I used to try and draw at least a sketch a day, thinking that not to do it would cause my skills to suffer. Not only is this not true, but a picture a day, with my schedule, isn't practical.

I'm not entirely happy with my output either, though. Sometimes I'm just lazy and don't want to draw. I've got to fix that. I have so many ideas for all sorts of things, that it would practically be a crime to do nothing with the the thoughts.

Yeah, that's my problem. Once I start drawing, I'm fine, and I tend to go at it solidly until it's finished, scanned, coloured and posted - it's just getting started in the first place that can be difficult. 😛

Although I have pretty much decided on my next drawing. I'm thinking of doing Mink from "Dragon Half", as that show rocked, and I've never seen a pic of her on here. I've decided to try and focus on characters that don't get much attention (hence Haruka, Mink, etc - and my first ever TK pic was Nagi from "Tenchi Muyo").

Thats originally how I started out with fanart. I chose characters who are either deemed minor or weren't given the time I thought they deserved (like Lt. Maya Ibuki from Eva).

I have some very important advice for you though. And I say this as a friend. DON'T just draw tickling pictures. Try and diversify the themes as much as possible and be open to trying new things. Don't think that just because you're here like I am that you are required to share just one aspect of your talent because thats what the site is about. I think people will appriciate you more when they are allowed to see the broader aspects of your art in general.

When they see that, it actually makes the tickle and fetish pictures even more special, as they are no longer mundane, redundant or overused. People have the benefit of seeing your talent unlimited, and that can be a very powerful thing down the line.

You'll also feel better about it too. If you want to draw Mink for example, consider drawing a non-tickle picture as well. That will start you off on the right foot. And don't be afraid or worried to draw just non tickling pictures sometimes if it strikes you and you aren't in a fetishy mood. I do that, and it works for me, and I have every reason to believe it will work for you.

Most of the pictures I do are non-TK, but they're also the sort of things that wouldn't interest anybody on this forum (pirates and the Monopoly man are my favourite subjects). But usually when I draw anime-style, it does tend to be TK, so I'll try and be a bit more diverse.

Thats the problem, assuming that people here are so single-minded so as to exclude any other artwork if it doesn't meet their expectations. Don't allow yourself to be marginalized this way, or conform just to get a reaction out of some of these people.

I think that by doing what you want to do, people will respect you more for it and look at what you have to share and draw with more curiousity.

Also, for the record, I've nearly finished my next TK pic. I've drawn it and everything, but I need to outline and colour it. I tried drawing the characters normally first, as suggested, and I think it helped. 🙂

I have the entire series (anime and manga). No, it doesn't happen, its just in the manga.

No, it doesn't happen, its just in the manga.

Tragically... 🙁 There were a few tickling scenes in the manga, actually, but only one of them that I can think of made it into the anime (Kanako trying to find out Kitsune's bra size).
