Lucky (?) to be alive

Yesterday I was leaving work to cash my check, and as I went to turn onto a raod I kinda zonked out for a second, and didn't notice the stop sign. A large dump truck proceeded to absolutely knock the shit out of me. All I got out of it was a very sore shoulder, but my car is now shaped like a croissant, and probably cannot be fixed. Had it hit me a half second earlier it would have certainly killed me.

If all you are going to do is tell me it was my fault, please do not bother posting a reply, I already know that. I just wanted to share my story and urge everyone to really pay attention when out on the road. You may not be as lucky as I was.
