My turn to play movie critic! LXG has minimal plot and maximum special effects, which can be said of most films nowadays. If you paid close enough attention, it was also left wide open for LXG 2, lets hope SIr Connery works a tad on his accent.

Actually, I thought the film was quite good. The concept of having several literary figures from the same generation alive and working together was a highly original plot. Maybe a tad on the outlandish side, but so was Terminator. 🙄

It was also nice to see Peta Wilson back onscreen, she turned in a creepy, yet sublime performance as Mina Harker. There were things in the film that could have been better (it seemed that people who had just seen thier first automobile were quite adept at stunt-driving), but all in all it was much better fare than what's been passing for action film this summer.

I liked it, its just that some people didnt see where or how it was left open to a part 2. And I like dConnerys accent better when he was Bond.
