M/F somewhat Interesting but lame old mainstream film scene

More of a cute curiosity than anything else. Don't recommend spending the few bucks to rent, but interesting all the same. A 'headless' female performer loses her job because an audience member tickles her foot with a feather and blows the magic trick. Maybe a fetish producer can make something good out of the idea, but as presented it's pretty lame. She's wearing shoes and never laughs. She reacts with flexes and jerks to being tickled, nothing more, but who knows? Maybe someone will enjoy it.

Hey! I've seen this one, I have it on videotape, actually. (In fact, I just found the videotape recently) (the title of the movie: "Maisie Was A Lady", one in a series of "Maisie" movies). Yeah, it's just a described, nothing much - and in fact, I one time used it in a mainstream trade, back in the old days when we would mail video tapes to each other, and the person complained to me that it wasn't tickling. (I disagree, and feel validated that x2233 has unearthed the scene after all these years!)

As he said, it's very minor, no laughter or anything, but cool to see in an old black-and-white film, where tickling scenes were very rare, especially in the 1940s. (It's also cool that it occurs in the first few minutes of the movie! I remember going through the movie JUST to see if there was a tickling scene in it, and couldn't believe I hit paydirt so quickly!)

The actress, incidentally, is gorgeous Ann Sothern (sans pretty head!)
