mainstream ad – “Tickle” mention

Found an interesting little ad in the local “underground” newspaper (actually, my wife found it). It is for a comedy club, and is about their improvisation acts. If you have ever been to an improv, they often have the audience suggest the scenes by shouting out several things, such as a person, a thing and a verb. I would have liked to have seen the scene they performed as suggested by the ad.

Say… this gives me a great idea. Next improv I go to, I am going to try to shout out something tickle-related. Anyone out there want to try it too?

I thought of that only once, and I've been to many many improv shows - I'm an improv freak. I think they were looking for a reason why someone would go to jail. I shouted it out, but didn't get picked. They chose something about pigs - it didn't matter since that was only mentioned briefly.

Most of the ones I went to were shows put on at the university - which tend to be PG even though we were promised by an insider it would be R. I swear like a fiend when I do improv - it's more genuine.

I have more improv-related stories, some may involve tickling, but I'll save that for another time.
