I have finally gotten around to making a video displaying one of my artworks, and have uploaded it to my new youtube account, DThesis! ^__^

For those of you who have been wanting to see the progression of my artwork from a simple sketch to a final piece and how I do it, you're in for a treat! This is my first video ever, my first youtube video ever, and my first time ever sharing one of my art pieces from start to finish. 🙂

I will definitely make more videos like this as well as make other videos, like anime reviews, video game reviews, movie reviews, and hopefully many other videos! This will be a first time for everything I've just listed, so I'm really excited to be moving on up into the arena of audio, video, and live action. 🙂

I specifically chose that song for it's solemn feel and because the lyrics matched the picture. All this talk of "come and save me" was pretty literal.

Wow, very good indeed Vladislaus, you certainly made an excellent clip there, I loved to get to see how you draw one of your pieces artwork, well put together, especially witht he great choice of music you used. I look forward to more of your vidclips in the future.

Thank you. One thing I wasn't happy with is the resolution. You cannot really see many of the frames, and that makes it appear as though long moments are going by without anything happening, but something is happening all the time (there are over 40 frames), you just can't see it at that resolution. So, what I'm going to try and experiment with is focusing on specific areas in the videos and showing that progression and then moving on to others and doing the same thing and only after that will I show the entire picture on the screen at the end of the video, rather than showing the entire thing all at once. I'll be able to show the up-close details and how those are changing and being worked on, that way.

I don't know why I didn't think of doing that with this one. Ah well.

This very interesting to see! I have a great admiration for artists who are able to paint digitally entirely from scratch. This video gives some insight as to how a digital painting develops. I wonder, what program do you use to colour/paint your drawings?
