Hey guys, im a guy who's active a lot of the time, whether it be playing football, trainning for fights or clubbing and dancing all night long im always doing something.... from all this my feet get a hard time and skin in some areas can start to get tough, so i do my best to keep them soft

my question is: would tickle n foot enthusiasts see this as a question of masculinity?

(not that i care either way, still gna carry on caring for them but just want your views 🙂)

I wouldn't see it as a question of masculinity - though I'd likely bug any guy I knew if I saw them in a beauty salon or spa.

Trust me, any person who chooses to go after your feet I bet would much rather have them as sensitive as possible, and not all rough and potentially grosser looking. :stickout

I'd say - if you can stand it - pedicures are 'almost' mandatory: that is, if you don't take care of your feet yourself some way. 😉

I take care of my feet, and I don't care what others think. Personally, I like to have my feet soft, though I do take care of them myself: rubbing lotion into them and removing the dry skin on a regular basis are a must to me.

If taking care of your feet makes your masculinity questionable, maybe I need to start doing even more! 😀 I don't have enough people thinking I'm a girl yet... but let's see what this new hairstyle does.

And it doesn't matter to me at all. My girlfriend, a good friend, and several other acquaintances are all of the mind girly and feminine boys are pretty hot.

And that works for me 😛

I guess I'd kinda just have to ask: Does what someone else thinks about your "masculinity" really matter that much? Who cares what they think? It's not their business after all and if they don't care for how you live, then they are cordially invited to go to Hell. 😀

I'll put it to you this way: I take care of my feet and I do none of those things, none of the sports, clubbing, fights, etc, but no one ever questions my masculinity.

Guys never see my feet anyway, so they wouldn't know, and girls love that they can lay down with someone who doesn't have meaty stumps at the end of his legs. So yeah, I don't really see any negative consequences of having nice feet.

Arnold Schwarzenegger gets weekly manicures and pedicures, but he's still manly as hell.

Haha TKL_Rebel I totally wouldn't have guessed you'd be into all that super-manly stuff. :stickout I usually can't date anyone who does lots of sports or dancing because they have... well... gross meaty feet like chilled_bones mentioned. But, as long as a guy isn't wearing makeup, I'm fine with him spending time on his image... all those metrosexual celebrities have made the culture less judgemental towards it.

Maintenance of Feet

For a good fifteen years, I've been looking after my feet, for two reasons.

Firstly, it is to ensure that they are always in tiptop condition for tickling but secondly, due to the fact I participate in a number of sports, particularly running, the skin on the soles of my feet can quite quickly begin to shows of distress, in the form of rough or dry areas, if left untreated.

The most vulnerable area is the balls of the feet (in particular the metatarsal heads), due to the fact I land mid-foot when I run, which can cause the skin on the balls of my feet to become rough and uncomfortable if I do not thoroughly nourish my feet I exercise.

Thus, a runner who doesn't look after his or feet cannot run if they are in constant pain.

So, I'd disagree with those who say men looking after their feet is a sign of losing masculinity

If another guy wants to do feminine things like getting pedicures or shaving off all his body hair, well, that's his life. Doesn't matter to me. But personally, I just can't do it. I prefer to feel manly. It's just who I am.

I did pay a lot of money for a hair straightener, though, lol. :lol
What can I say? Without straightening, my hair looks like I put my finger in an electrical socket.
