I just read a story on MSN.com, that has to make me wonder.
I posted on here sometime ago about a guy who died after eating cockaroaches for a bet.. now it has happened again, with eggs.
A man in Tunisa has died after consuming 28 raw eggs to satisfy a bet. The man ate the raw eggs in rapid fashion, felt violent stomach pains, was taken to a hospital, where he was declared Dead On Arrival.
While his death is sad, what would posess someone to put their life in danger like that? The dangers of raw eggs are well known. Salmonella, and other bacteria. In fact. my mom told me that when I was little, she used to sneak a raw egg in if she was making me a milkshake. In my adult years, the dangers of raw eggs have since come to light.
To me, considering the dangers, one raw egg would be risky enough, but 28??
