Man Swims 1243 Miles to Protect River

A man from Oregon swam that far down the Columbia river through toxins, nuclear power plant runoff, super cold water and sometimes 8 foot waves, to bring awareness of the river's plight to the people. This is not all at once mind you, he did it over 13 months and got out of the water every day to rest, see his family, visit schools, etc.. then got back in at the same spot




Shit, I refuse to sim at the local beaches! Hell, getting into my own pool is intimidating
