Who else is eagerly awaiting this sequel to one of the best games Ive ever played?

Its ironic I used to hate bioware games but after playing awesome games like mass effect 1 and dragon age, im going to easily add this one to my collection.

p.s. I think im like the only one on the planet that things kotor was boring as hell.

if you didn't manage to play past the first planet on kotor then i can probably forgive you. the beginning parts of both kotor games are dull as shit. i will definitely be getting mass effect 2 as well. i loved the first game and the sequel looks to be an improvement in all the right areas.

Ive been going through the game in Mass Effect one setting the story and character for what I want in the sequel. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

I just finished the first one, and I am anxiously awaiting the new one. Even have the 'mini' one on my iTouch. 😀

Love it!!

I really enjoyed the first one and so I hope ME 2 will help me overcome my disappointment with DA:O. However, it'll suck if BioWare does the cop out on the relationship companion and has them either killed or leave you or both in the sequel.

I bought it on launch. I haven't been playing is steadily enough to get anywhere though. Bioware games do that for me, they don't get addictive till the story gets dramatic, which is usually the final half. Same with Dragon Age, but I gave up there when I just could not get past the undead in Redcliffe, which is like the first freaking mission too. That game is hard.

The only really bad thing about ME2 is the size and color of the ingame text. When I target something, the description is a blue blob. The menus are clear but tiny. Not enough of the population have HDTV's yet. They're starting to make assumptions that people who play these games should already have one. Too much money for me.

Amazing game. I <3 Tali so much!

Plot seems a bit darker or just as dark as ME, lots of new characters. Depth of interaction isn't quite as deep as DA, but you get the same Bioware quality that you know and love from what you get. Compelling story, great NPCs, love the renewed emphasis on action, 10/10. =)

Can anyone believe that as soon as I placed Mass Effect 2 into my 360, (which had never shown any problems in the years I have had it) my console chose EXACTLY that freaking moment to crap out on me. I was in utter shock that fate could be so sadistic. Luckily, my mass effect 2 copy was completely unscathed, and I managed to play it over a friends house. An incredible game! I cannot wait to get my console repaired so I can play it in full.

I love it, been playing it every night since i got it, Mordin is one of my favorite characters. Been taking my time doing all the loyalty missions and various side quests before i carry on with the main story. Its getting pretty interesting

I decided to shell out for an HDTV yesterday. That game was made for a TV like that. I've been playing it for 8 hours. The room is stifling from the combination of the heat produced by that screen and the xbox itself. Who cares, it's like a good book, I can't put it down.

Definitely my favorite game I've played in a while. LOVE the story, and the characters are amazing in this one (far superior to the first game).

Was it just me, or did the whole Jack character background story just blow everything else away as far as it was acted/voiced, including her story mission, and then the final paragon romance option. Just freakin' wow! I've never felt such emotion from a character like that, and it's SO real in the way she's portrayed. I know girls like that, who've experienced horrible things in their lives, and have that rough/tough "fuck the world" exterior, but once you show them you're a true friend and love them for who they are on the inside, they open up and show you their beautiful side. Really cool to have a character arc like that in this game.

Completed it yesterday, fantastic game can't wait for the next one. Last boss was alittle easy, especially since the Cain(the nuke launcher) took him down in 2 hits.

I agree about Jack. I really liked her story. Probably the most enjoyable of all the characters. Character development was one of the best things about this game

This game was epic. I can play it a few more times and get different results (and I might), but I think it's only right to stand by the decisions I made when the next game comes out. There are so many choices that are made in this game that I can see having a huge effect on the sequel..

I now have a big crush on Yvonne Strahovski (Miranda).

I borrowed this from my boyfriend and I have to say - it was fun. It ate most of my free time.

If any of you play it for the 360/PS3 and want to beat the game on Insanity because you're an achievement *****, I will give you one piece of advice: pick an Adept or a Sentinel. Adepts are more fun in my opinion. Very powerful. 😀

Thankfully, Garrus is still badass.

The little story he tells you after you do his loyalty mission.. PRICELESS.

"I had reach, but she had flexibility." XD
