Mass Effect 3 Ending

I'm half way through the main story and i'm not clicking that link!!! 😛
 
I don't like it one bit. I'd explain why, but can't really as it'd be a spoiler for other people.

What annoys me much more than the ending though, is that the mass effect twitter account is making vague promises that they have more planned. So that probably means we will get a better ending coming as DLC, but paying for it irks me.

Yeah, that is my friend's opinion. He is saying that it may just be an April Fools prank with the proximity of the release to April. Having to pay for the DLC if it comes to that is not cool though. If the DLC were free then that is another story.

I don't think it's an april fools prank, that'd be weird as we're just halfway through march...but maybe. The sad thing is that ME3 is really awesome, together with the first it's probably my favorite of the Mass Effects. It is really just the last 5 minutes that ruin an otherwise very awesome game.

Totally agree free DLC would be the way to go here but sadly ME3 is not The Witcher 2 and EA is definetly not CD Projekt red so I have no hopes for that happening like...at all.

Oh and I'll just leave this here because I think he did an awesome job of explaining the ending spoiler-free.

SPOILERS TO THE MAX

 Everything after Shepard being hit by the beam from Harbinger is an attempt by the reapers to indoctrinate Shepard. Choosing Destroy allows Shepard to overcome the indoctrination attempt and re-awaken to finish the fight for real...in coming DLC.

Yeah it still sucks, unless it's free which is doubtful since this is EA we are talking about.

That was quite awesome to read. XD I don't know if you've heard but if you didn't then you might wanna check out the Baldur's Gate Homepage(reddit breaking it right now, hopefully it'll be back up soon) a 24 hour timer appeared and started 2 hours ago, and the source code mentions "a shadowy figure" and "Infinity Engine" which is the same that was used in the first two games. I loved Baldur's Gate and Shadows of Amn myself, bought them on GoG recently...nostalgia. <3 So a GOOD, OLDSCHOOL sequel would be awesome.

Also...just as a side note, Baldur's gate was released 1998. Feels like it has been much longer to me too though. 🙂

Bioware was either trolling us, or the ending was rushed, or written by a completely different team than the people who wrote the other 99% of ME3. It doesn't even fit!

Shock, depression, horror, disbelief, betrayal, and rage. I felt all of those. I've ranted about this ending so many times that I don't feel like going into detail anymore, but I will say this:

The Catalyst = deus ex machina, no matter what you do, the galaxy is f'd up, Shepard never sees his or her love interest again, etc. Join the cause on Facebook. "Demand a better ending to Mass Effect 3"

We have over 30,000 "likes" on the Facebook page, nearly every topic on the Bioware ME3 forums is bashing the ending, and I voted in a poll on the Bioware forums where 90% (over 43,000) of the votes were for a happier ending.

I fell in love with Tali, dammit, and this ending is not good enough.
