So, on topic of weather.

While NYC is going to get several inches of snow, it doesnt look like we are going to get the worst.

A "Winter Weather Advisory" (My favorite kind of advisory) is in effect for NYC for 3 to 6 inches of snow. South of here, in Philadelphia, Lancaster, etc, A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for 6 to 8 inches.

After the storm, brutal cold is supposed to return for a few days. Tomorrow night's low is going to be a balmy., 7 degrees.

I don't know what the deal with the weather is.. The original expected accumulation here was supposed to be 4 to 8 inches, reduced to 3 to 6 inches this morning, and now supposedly reduced to 2 to 4 inches. It is close to 40 degrees now, with no precip of any kind falling.

Hopefully, the precip will miss us completely. It's supposed to get very cold again tomorrow night and Tuesday, before it finally, begins to moderate, hopefully for good.

Well so much for the massive snowfall of 12 inches that was predicted. Forest Hills got a total of.. a half an inch of snow. The heavy snow missed us to the south, through southern NJ, DE, MD, etc.

It was good to get spared. The bitter cold continues.. It's only around 20 degrees outside now, with a forecast low tonight of a frigid.. 9. After another brutally cold day tomorrow, it is supposed to finally warm up by week's end.

The weather is supposed to be beautifully warm this week, with maybe just some rain on Wednesday.

The long range forecast calls for it to get very cold this Thursday, and then, supposedly, for there to be a snowstorm next Tuesday. That's nine days away, so it doesn't seem any sense to pay attention to it now.

After a few days of truly spring-like weather (sunny, temperatures in the 40s during the day), we're getting rain tomorrow morning. That's going to become sleet in the afternoon, and then snow, 4-8 inches of it. Temperature's going to go down from the 30s in the daytime to the single digits Wednesday night.

It was very warm here today. Brutally cold weather is returning tomorrow, for one day, with highs only in the 20s, along with high winds, before milder weather comes back for the weekend.

The cold is back today. It is currently 19 degrees, with 25 mph winds, and higher gusts. Luckily this is only a one day cold snap, and it is supposed to warm back up to the high 40s tomorrow.

This time,.,. by a matter of miles..literally. we were missed.

As most who have heard. or are experiencing.. are aware.. the mid Atlantic, as far north as.. Southern NJ.. are receiving a heavy snowfall tonight. Winter Storm Warnings for up to 10 inches.. are posted for those areas.

In NYC, we are getting.. nothing at all. maybe a few flurries.

I'm sorry for all those who are getting hit.. but for us.., its about time the heavy snow missed us. We;'ve had enough this season.

It's amazing how we got spared, and south coastal areas got hit.

I watched the WPVI morning news. They had up to 8 inches in places like Cape May and Atlantic City, and it was still snowing heavily. Here in NYC, nothing. It's just very cold, mid 20s, with high winds.

Luckily for me.. no work today. Meetings and training sessions, were cancelled by the district supervisors, for whatever reason. It will be a day to stay inside.

It is freezing cold today.. and..

We are supposed to get... snow.. Yippeee! From tomorrow night into Wednesday. Right now it looks like 2 to 4 inches for NYC. Maine looks to be the worst hit this time.

Hopefully this will be the last of it, it is fucking enough already.
