We need both, but which is more necessary in life? Why?
Choose one. Let the pwnage begin! 😀
Choose one. Let the pwnage begin! 😀
Are you trying to bait me? 😛
Both are necessary, but math is more beautiful. 😀
For example, who is not astonished by the beauty of Stokes' Theorem?
In differential geometry, Stokes' theorem (also called the generalized Stokes' theorem) is a statement about the integration of differential forms on manifolds, which both simplifies and generalizes several theorems from vector calculus. Stokes' theorem says that the integral of a differential form ω over the boundary of some orientable manifold Ω is equal to the integral of its exterior derivative dω over the whole of Ω. Or, in mathematical notation:
I'm going to say English. We had to communcate with each other before we needed to count.
Math. It does even the algorithm of our………....................digestion. 😀
Glad you appreciate mathematics, Bohemianne. 😀
While I am not as hardcore as you in computations, I do love math [especially visual math].
I am very glad to hear that. 😀
I love finding volumes in three dimensions with a triple integral. Especially in spherical coordinates. 😀
And don't forget Jacobi's theorem which lets you invent a new coordinate system just for the problem you are working on. 😀
Yes, although that is not the exact form in which I teach it. 😀
^ You mean this? 😱
Yes, although that is not the exact form in which I teach it. 😀
Yes, I understand. 😀Bwahahaha... of course I just googled that one...
Yes, I understand. 😀
It is also called "change-of-variable formula for multiple integrals."
Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Abstract Algebra, Complex Analysis, and Real Analysis.Aside from Calculus, what else do you teach in Math?
Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Abstract Algebra, Complex Analysis, and Real Analysis.
Teaching Abstract Algebra is my favorite. 😀Pwned! Now I understand why Math is life (to you). And which is your favorite... I assume Calculus?
Teaching Abstract Algebra is my favorite. 😀
Here is the book that I use:
