Matrix Reloaded is amazing.

I know this has probably been posted about before already. Anyway..

I just saw the movie a few hours back and it was amazing(though, not as good as the first IMO). All but one person I have talked to said that it sucked bad. I really don't know how people can say that about this movie. If you go to http://www.pvponline.com, this guy actually compares it to being as bad as Highlander 2 was.. I mean wtf!?

Anyway, just trying to encourage people to go see it if they haven't. Though it has it's flaws, it more than makes up for them with the flawless stuff....yeah, that's it. 😕

Anyone else see it and want to post what they thought of the movie?

Thought it would be better than the first...shoulda been.

But, it wasn't. Very confusing, and the action sequences, while well-scripted, seemed to be there just to have a special-effects sequence, and not to further develop the story line, which were pleasurable l'il odysses in the first one, and as I mentioned, fit nicely in sync with the plot.

We are a Matrix within a Matrix within a Matrix...ad infinitum - ad nauseum, is what the this movie seemed to suggest to me...

The third and final installment is called "Revolutions". Perhaps it should be called "Revelations", 'cause that's what its gonna take to to shock my CNS back into coherence and follow Neo (might as well be Theo from the Huckstables for all I care right now) into whatever beguiling puzzles ensnare him in the third film.

Also, the chicky-boo I went with claimed that there are books written on the religious/spiritual undercurrent(s) of the film (she was surprised that I hadn't actually read any 🙄 ). When asked for an example, she came up with the "There is no spoon" line from the first film.

Gimme a break. I laughed out loud at that scene because I was sure that The Amazing Kreskin said something similar to his parents as a child. Skin tone was almost the same as well.

I actually thought the movie was pretty good... yeah its got some stuff thats a little to heavy on the brain though.... but to a certain extent I think its good because they now have a reason why Neo can't simply just save the world oh so easily.

The Matrix movies were disgned as a trilogy... but also so that the first one could stand on its own... the first one was easier to understand so people could get into it more... and since it was succesful, they went ahead with the other two.

Errr... I don't think I'm making alotta sense to me at the moment... concentration is somewhere else... so perhaps I'll just say this...

Be thankfull for the deep and confusing stuff in Matrix 2, cause without it you wouldn't really care if there was a Matrix 3 comming out because it would be like every other sequel to bad movies... pointless and without story. So yeah... good, it... is.

I saw The Matrix Reloaded over the weekend, and not only were the special effect, fight scenes, and freeway stunts cool, I also liked how the story progressed. Can't wait for Revolutions on November 5! 🙂
