I have made an observation, not from TT but sites such as Fetlife, that mature ticklers such as myself(61), are not that welcome. The 20-30 somethings want someone their own age, and the 40 somethings want someone younger. Now, I'm no dinosaur, I'm healthy and fit and have experience, but that doesn't seem to matter these days. Vancouver BC is not completely devoid of female lees, but they don't want anyone as old as their "father" or "grandfather" touching them. In fact, they are shocked when I tell them my age, that I should still be interested in tickling. I guess I should just grab a copy of Readers Digest and book myself a comfy chair in the rest home.

Your tale reminds me of a few observations I've made myself of the BDSM community at large, but since tickling is just a very focused offshoot, the same applies. There is typically a different motivation for finding a partner depending on age, wherein the older members of the community are often looking for someone to play with a few times, have a few good scenes, but the younger members are often using their kinks to help them find a sexually compatible partner.

Most of these twenty- or thirty-somethings out for a more committed relationship aren't terribly interest in trying to spark something with someone two to three times their age, and with good reason. Generally speaking, there is the issue of "different worlds." The vast majority of those one age range has little common ground with the majority of the other.

I have no doubt you're probably fit as a fiddle even at sixty-one, but you're also in a good position to answer the other side of the question. Namely, why do older members of the community so frequently want a younger partner and not someone their own age?

Either way, fear not. I hear those homes are a fast track to pretty much unlimited ice cream! 😉

I just turned 60 last month, and I get the same feeling. However, I would have no problem getting together with someone my age for a session.

As a youth, I'm going to have to agree with Bell-D on this one; its never been a typical thing for younger submissives to seek out older dommes, especially male ones. Well, unless you go for the gay bdsm scene, which I'm assuming is not the case. Incidentally, younger men and women due tend to be more attracted to older female dommes, certain talents and appearances withstanding. I can only assume its for the same reason that our society has MILFS but not FILFS; theres just a sort of quiet dignity that comes with age for men.

Don't get me wrong here, I never said I was looking for a much younger lee, it was just an obsevation that even those in their 40+ range don't seem interested. I'd be happy to have a female lee 55+. And your right, the younger ones are using these sites for dating, not so much the fetish at hand.

If they were looking for someone in their own age range, I doubt they'd be doing it online. It could be a midlife crisis type of thing, or maybe they're just looking to pass on some knowledge to the next generation. Who knows? Women are confusing enough as it is; i wouldnt worry over it if I were you.

Tickling is many things to many people, in general i guess it is the persuit of the younger person, the fun element.

But if it involves the sexuality aspect as it does for some folk then it could change depending on the situation.

But when it comes down to bdsm and control and submission i think the master, or mistress, is very often a little older.

The mentor or training element coming in with the domination and submission aspects as well as the various other fetish elements.

Real life as opposed to cyber situations could also have a factor to play
