McDonald's Fish Filet Sandwiches?

am i the only person to love these things? just had one. they're .99 cents today (Fridays). no one i know really likes them and i'm baffled. i could eat them daily without a problem. melted cheese, tons of tartar sauce, deep fried fish...

i need to know if im insane or not. is there someone out there like me, who thinks they are great tasting?

I had an idea for a restaurant chain called aphxa house of heart attacks. where the food is so fatning that you have to sign a contract to eat it.

Mickey Dee's fish filet is not TOO bad, but their tartar sauce is RANCID. Not to mention sometimes you get a really, really fish filet (you know, the kind that even tuna run away from screaming with clothespins on their noses?), and they often over-fry them, making them tough to chew through.

I have a personal preference for Burger Kings new fish filet sandwich. Good sweet tartar sauce, cheese, lettuce, and a nice flaky filet. But when giving out awards, Culvers North Atlantic Cod Filet sandwich takes the cake! Battered, white, juicy, flaky, and TONS of tartar, shredded cheese, and shredded lettuce. Nummy!

Mickey's FoF sammich ain't too bad, but I usually get it without the cheese and with lettuce and tomatoes added. BK's fish is a lot better, though.

When I worked for Mickey D's back in the 80's, the only food I could still stomach by the end was in fact the Filet O' Fish. I used to order two of them plain and put them both on one sandwich with ketchup. (I know, some say "yuch").

In my personal experience, McDeath's food trails Burger King by light years on both portion size and price. A Big Mac must be half the size of a whopper!

Add to that, the bastards were keen financial supporters of the Provisional IRA for many years. I would'nt piss on a Micky Dee's resteraunt if I found it on fire.

If you have or know someone who's worked in the restaurant buisiness, you'll find that many of the stories are true. Like, if they drop the food, they pick it up and put it back on the plate. That is completely true for most restaurants.😱
