Meet The Fockers

I went to see Meet The Fockers (the sequel to Meet The Parents) on Christmas Day, and it was laugh out loud hilarious! LOL

Seriously, you've got to see this movie. Theres rarely a moment that goes by that isn't funny somehow. Most of the audiance was laughing. ^__^

Dustin Hoffman, Robert De Niro and Barbara Streisand gave wonderful performances in this movie and I felt they worked well together and had chemistry in this one. Their roles deserve an award, in my opinion, if not at least a nomination.

Great movie, definitely buying it. :happy:

Heres the synopsis-

"Now that Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) is ''in'' with his soon-to-be in-laws, Jack (Robert De Niro) and Dina Byrnes, it looks like smooth sailing. But that's before his fiancee Pam's (Teri Polo) parents meet Greg's parents, the Fockers. The hyper-relaxed Fockers and the tightly-wound Byrneses are woefully mismatched from the start. No matter how hard Greg and Pam try, there's just no bringing their families together."

As for the movie coming to video, Wal-Mart almost always has a first day sale on new dvd movies on the first day they make it to stores. Where usually a new dvd will cost about $14.99, sometimes they are as low as $10.00 or even lower. I'm almost sure the first day sale also applies to the vhs versions as well.

Although I don't know if you have a Wal-Mart near you, but this may be helpful and will save you several dollars. :happy:

Thanks 🙂 I was thinking more of renting it when it gets to the grocery store rentals, because those are usually $1, and sometimes you can keep 'em for three days *^.^*

I've never seen anyone bust nut over such a mediocre film. Oh well... why bother wasting money to go see it in the theater? It's called downloading, try it. 🙂

I'd prefer to do it the honest way. 🙂 I would rather not go through the trouble of downloading it. It was worth my eight bucks. Going through the hassle of downloading it just to save eight dollars is trivial to me.

Has anyone else seen it? 🙂

Screw the honest way! It's not just 8 dollars, either. Popcorn is an extra couple of bucks, along with candy, and a coke...not to mention when there's other people and you get stiffed with the 'bill'. F******************************CK that!

Of course, but I was only talking about the price of admission. I don't usually buy a drink or popcorn or candy because I usually plan a dinner afterwards and I wouldn't want to spoil my appetite with snack treats, especially if its a big meal, like it was.

I don't go to the movies often anyways, and the last time I bought theater products my friends chipped in so it wasn't expensive at all. Share and share alike. 🙂

Spoil your appetite? What are you, 6? I would have thought 20+ would make you eligible for graduating over to the adult table, but it appears your mother doesn't agree. I can't say I blame her. 🙂

Its just common sense that if you're planning to eat all your meal, especially an expensive one, that you shouldn't fill up on snacks beforehand.

Anyways, those that liked the first film will probably like this on. I think the two work well together and feel connected. This may seem like an awkward thing to say, but its happened where I'll see movies, sequels that is, that don't seem like they're in continuity. They're simply labeled "II" or something and don't feel like they left off where the last one did.

Not so with this movie, at least thats what I think.
