The next morning, Ross, Steve, Fritz, and Sam Green met at the office.

The men first discussed how they would go about beginning to sell off the next part of the gas strike.

Steve and Fritz had lists of potential investors.

Sam Green knew many people as well., The field people Sam had worked with over the years.. had worked for many large oil and gas companies, who would be interested in buying into such a strike.

While Ross, Fritz, and Steve had originally been leery of selling off any part of the strike to anyone in the oil and gas industry, the men's lawyer advised them that they could get any buyers to sign off that they were buying their part of the gas strike as an investment only, and not in any way to try to claim any other part of the strike or the company itself. Such seemed to protect Ross, Fritz, Steve, and the Greens, so that would seem to be a safety net.

In the meantime, the men agreed that with three hundred million already sold off, and a big up front chunk surprisingly gone, they would now focus on selling the rest of the strike on one hundred million dollar blocks, which would seem to be a realistic and manageable sum at a time.

Ross had a stutter, so he approached any potential investors through email. Fritz and Steve gave Ross a list of one thousand potential investors, who Ross started to email. He had to strive to send out two hundred and fifty emails a day, as he had four days to send the emails out, since he wanted to be back in New York by Thursday night.

Sam, Fritz, and Steve, were able to do cold calling to certain people in the industry. While cold calling usually did not pan out well, Steve and Fritz knew these men from oil and gas and investors conventions, so the men were able to get those they called to listen.

By Monday night, The men had scheduled a dinner with twenty five potential investors, five men at five tables with each of the partners involved with Ross, Frits, Steve, and the Green brothers. It "Seemed" at the end of the night, that five men were leaning toward committing to sign up. Another meeting would be held Tuesday afternoon at the office for said people, while the men would also do additional new potential investor approach again via cold call and email.

Late Monday night, around 10 pm OKC time, and 11 pm NY time, Ross called Kayley who this time was up.

"So, how was day one?" The teacher asked.

"Well, we had dinner with twenty five potential investors. It seems that five men might sign up . That is not bad. We are going to do more approach of new people tomorrow, hold second meetings with the five men, and then see. Sam Green can take any potential people who say they might invest to the field himself, so that Steve, Fritz, and I can get work done in the office. You want me home by Saturday. My plan is to be home at latest by the time you get home from school on Friday, and hopefully Thursday night" Ross said.

"Honey, no time clock. I know you are working on something crucial to you. "Kayley said.

"We have decided that we are going to try to sell off one hundred million dollar pieces at a time. It might be difficult, but it is worth a shot" Ross said.

"Okay baby. Have a good night. Sleep well, and we will talk tomorrow afternoon or evening" Kayley said.

The next day, and in the days following, the same thing happened. Calls by Steve and Fritz at the office. Hundreds of approach emails by Ross, Field shows by the Green brothers and sometimes either Steve or Fritz to the fields.

By Friday morning , fifty people had signed up.

When Ross got to the office on Friday, Fritz said. "Ross, please get out of here. We had a good week You sent out a major amount of emails. We have signed up fifty people. Sam has shown the fields to hundreds of people. We have had a very successful week." Fritz said.

"When do you want me back here?" Ross asked.

"Well, I know that you have to spend a week at RossShell, so, how about we all spend time going through this list, showing the fields and discussing the gas strike with other potential investors, and then a week from Monday, you come back, and we do just what we have been doing this week? This seems like a good formula. " Fritz said.

"Okay, buddy. I will make a flight home, and will be back a week from Monday" Ross said, shaking Fritz, Steve, and Sam's hands.

Ross went to the hotel, packed, and made a noon flight home to JFK , which would land around 5 pm. He texted Kayley such.

Ross went through security, got on the plane, the flight took off, went through Dallas, then to JFK, went in his Uber, got home, and then he kissed Kayley hi.

"Let me drop this off, check my messages, undress, shower, then we figure out dinner"

On Ross's home office answering machine, was, predictably, a message from Tim.

"Ross, I know you either are not home yet, or maybe just got home. Please call me by tomorrow morning. I have something very important to talk to you about"

Ross listened to the message, sat at his desk, and sighed.

OKC had been very hard work with searching for investors, and all of the solo and group meetings.

Now that Ross was home, it would be back to extremely difficult work and meetings with Tim's business, and RossShell.

Ross knew that he had to get back to the company that he created, and to the client and best friend he had cultivated, Tim Patrck.

Yet, he missed the fun and excitement of working on selling the gas strike off, and being with Fritz, Steve, and the Greens.

What would happen with all of these developments going forward?

That would all be seen.

Ross had a stutter,
But Ross doesn't stutter when talking to his wife, lucky for him.

Most definitely still a workaholic. The kind of man who will have a fatal stroke in his office, God forbid.

The author does have a stutter, so I made Ross have one too.

For the author, it depends on who I'm talking to.
There are times that I talk to people for hours on end, nothing, and other times it can be bad.

mils, you are a fatalist. Maybe Ross will be fine. Maybe he will surprisingly sell both the oil and gas company and Ross Shell, and run a small company with a few clients, and just Victor as his assistant, and or retire.

More to come by the end of tonight, stay tuned.
