While I wholeheartedly encorage everyone to post a photo of themselves, I thought this forum had raised itself above the level of porn sites. So, my question is, why is there a picture of a dude with a woody in the members section? I certanly have no desire to see someones genitals, and I'd like to think that the ladies here don't either. Too many sites are the types that focus more on sex than tickling. Maybe I'm different, but, I like to think of tickling more in a lighter, fun-loving sense. Sure there is the sensual side of tickling, but most everyone here has stated how that part of tickling is a personal one, expressed in private. Please let me know if I'm being too sensitive about this.

No Bob. You are not being too sensative. I saw that pic as well and was quite surprised and a bit disturbed. I don't usually even look at the member pics unless I am looking for someone specific. I am wondering what the reason was that this was approved and why the individual found it necessary to have this posted.

BigJim and I were having this exact discussion on yahoo last night. I am really surprised to see we were not the only ones to have felt put off and a bit disturbed by this. I certainly never expected to see a post on the subject.

Much like photos of female members who are "falling out" of their tops, I find this to be sad. To each his or her own, but maybe just give out that picture to folks who are more interested in "nudies" than tickling.

As much as we hate to say it, there are many folks on this "tickling board" who are here for nothing more than to advertise themselves and their "wares." *shiver*

I am included on the list of people who were surprised. I was also surprised to see that Jessica updated her pics with a pantsless pic. I definitely have NO interest in seeing some guy's pecker.
People that are Non-Models should keep their clothes on. Somebody coming to the TMF for the first time, seeing that picture, would definitely draw the wrong conclusion about the TMF.

TicklingDuo, you and I are sharin' thoughts, 'cause I already suggested the same thing. Just mark it as "contains nudity". That way, folks wantin' such, or wantin' t'display themselves as such, are able t'do so.

I personally don't much care, but I was raised around naked hippies, and have spent a number of my adult years around nightclubs where folks were scantily clad vampire wannabees. Naked just don't phase me anymore. Don't care to see it, but ain't phased much by it, so much as disappointed by surprise. I can deal wit' disappointment.

Hey joby, I usually go shopping in Marks and Spencers around 1.30 pm on a saturday, dont be late because the police station is only just up the road and given the ideas you have put in my head its unlikely i will be allowed to stay there for very long!!!


ps:- I am sure Jo belle will whole heartedly aggree with me in condemming this kind of posting, I can not think of a single male or FEMALE who would wish to actively seek out from other members of our lovely fluffy little community pictures of such base depravity. I am sure i speak for both myself and Jo belle when i say I find this kind of thing totally repugnant and hell will freeze over the day you find either myself or Joby indulging in this kind of un christian heresy.

The reason the pic went up:

We've had user images with female nudity on the site for months. Oddly no one has said a word about those. Nothing.

So when I received a nude male photo I put it up using the exact same standards that I used for earlier shots. Those being: If a user wants to express themselves to the community this way then so be it. I saw no reason for a double standard. I choose to let the viewer form whatever opinions they wish.

I'll drop a warning into the posts heading. Then all can choose to to enter or not with info.

Being one of the largest posters of female nudity in the images section I have to agree with Myriads that the post in the members section was not put up wrong. Rarely have I added the word nudity to the subject line in my posts, and most people probably assume that
there is some.

I get more complaints about not saying what area is being tickled than
I ever would about nudity, which leads me to believe that if it were a female member who had submitted a pic containing nudity, we probably would not be having this discussion. I like DVNC was "suprised" by the pic, but I surely cannot complain about it lest I stop posting nudity in mine altogether.....Something to think about here.

As for this unchristian behavior...Darlin', ya now have 'em believin' we're takin' nudie shots and sendin' 'em to each other in cyber space. Though, having seen you in clothes, I can't say as I'd be opposed to seein' ya out of 'em. Just not in the member pics section. A girl needs to prepare herself, eh? Wow. My first thread, and what a response! OK,OK, I'm more of a lurker than a poster, so this just suprised me a little to get so many responses, that's all. Myriads, I guess you hit the nail on the head pointing out that there were females with exposed genitalia exposed and no one said anything about it. Even though I don't consider myself homophobic, I still an a little uneasy looking at males in the nude, especially if they are aroused. At the same time, the woman that were exposed apparently didn't phase me, which is why I didn't notice them the same way I did the guy. I'd like to say that, personally, I prefer to see tickling related photos with at least something on their bodys wether it be a gal or a guy being tickled. I think that comes from my perception of tickling as a "fun" activity, unless it's with someone that I'm intimatly involved with. There's more than enough places to see nudity if that's what your looking for. And, I realize that there are some people that like nude tickling. More power to them, it's just not my cup of tea, that's all. But this is a free country, and everyone is entitled to their personal preferences.😉

I'm not sure about anyone else, but my objection was more to the apparent sex act taking place than to the nudity itself. I think Myr made a good call in the decision to include the fact that nudity is included. I just won't view those pics.

BTW, for the record...I don't recall having seen nude female pics...scantily clad pics, yes, but not nudes. Guess I must have skipped some.

I think you'll always get a stronger reaction to male nudity, than you would to female nudity. As Mimi said, the majority of TMF members are male and the fact is your average Joe Public is more revolted by the thought of homosexuality, than Jane Public is of lesbianism.(Even though it could be straight too!) Now I know that no form of homosexual sex act was taking place in that photo, but I imagine that's the first thing most lads would think of; when seeing a naked dude with half a lazy lob-on. Personally, I don't give a damn what people do in their private lives. (Being a member of the TMF I'd be a hypocrite to!) So.......it's illogical and probably sexist, but that's why no comment was made about the females who didn't wear clothes in their members photos.

Personally, I don't think the members photos section is the place for letting your tallywhacker flap in the breeze and I don't think it's the place for females to expose their ermmm.......equivalent, either. (I'm ugly enough fully clothed.LOL)
