The other day, I noticed they had 207, then it went down the next day to 206, then down again to 205, and now it's at 204. What's going on, are people ashamed to be here, or was this another case of fake photographs posted?

Not to disparage the general membership of the TMF, the vast majority of whom seem like cool folks... But I'd bet money that at least SOME folks have requested the removal of their pictures due to their having sprouted 1 or more creepy chatroom/e-mail/IM/etc cyber-stalkers...
asutickler, you're probably right. It's sad, if that is true, since the vast majority here are kind people. But then again, this might even be the topic of another thread. Yes, we have over 7,000 members. But you notice how only a few hundred post anything? We already know what kind of characters post here, but what kind of people make up the rest of those 7,000 who remain silent?

I cannot account for the other 2, but I had one removed. It was a pic of Pete and me. As JoBelle noted in another thread, people were seeing us as one in the same. We never were one in the same and now that we are no longer together, it made sense to have the pic removed.

At one time I was going to put I picture of myself up, but I decided against it. There are some people here, who I would like to know what I look like, but there are about 6500 people I don't, really.
I haven't really got time to ramble on for long, but I might come back in a while and have a rant about lurkers and wankers in general....

Actually it is time I remove my pic since I have gone back to the real me prior to my momentary lapse of reason when I started to grow my hair back! 
What was I thinking!
I am now back to the dome of clean shaven head I have been for 11+ years.
Either that or add it to my existing photo profile.
Sort of like a before after before kinda scenario.

That's like me. Tis time for an update of mine too.. I have lost quite a bit more weight since that pic was taken and sometime(when I'm not too damn lazy to get around to it) plan on sending in another pic to truly represent to the TMF'er's what I look like and what they might be getting to tickle. Btw from earlier pics I've seen of you I think you look wonderful as a "cue ball" lol😛

That is why I haven't sent mine in to be posted here. I have had one too many "scary" cases in the not-to-distant past just being in the email groups and on yahoo messenger. I am married and I have kids...I don't need someone telling me to watch myself because they are coming to "get me". Not saying it was from here...I know the majority of ppl here wouldn't do something like that, but I still won't take my chances. Otherwise, if the psycho sicko's weren't in this world, my beautiful face would be up everywhere. LOL!!!

I can definately sympathize with everyone here who doesn't want to put their pictures up or has taken them down. I would like to think that those of us on these boards are an accurate representation of the tickling community, but with my personal experiences online and in real life, i'm not sure it's the case. That's why you gotta stick with the nice ones. 😉

You can't trust what you can't see. That's why if anyone is interested in my picture I will simply send it to them after we've had at least some communication. I wouldn't worry about the decreasing number too much, some people probably had some nasty experiances. The number has come quite a way since the forum began (especially the number of female pics)and will continue to evolve at it's own pace just like the rest of the community has.
